You will be based at the Lighthouse Young People Centre and have a city wide brief.

Birmingham City Council is seeking a dedicated Youth worker (YW) to join Birmingham Youth Service, Children and Families Directorate. In this pivotal role, you will support the delivery of youth provision from the youth centres, schools and in localities across Birmingham.

As the Youth Worker alongside a team of youth workers and apprentices you will deliver and maintain strong relationships with relevant organisations and strengthen the outcomes for young people.

Your role will involve ensuring the implementation of systems across Birmingham Youth Service and the delivery of high-quality youth work to our young people.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other Youth Workers, young people as well as stakeholders to promote creative ideas to improve health outcomes for young people. You will contribute to the performance targets across the delivery team and inspire and motivate the best provision to young people.
