This role sits within our Business & Industry division, catering for those within the workplace. Taking care of catering and dining services, we're one of the industry's largest and most innovative contract caterers. With menus available to pre-order and with in-app payment, Elior B&I have matched the tastes and dietary requirements of our four million daily customers with 21st-century tech.
What you’ll be doing
The night porter will oversee the accommodations overnight to ensure the safety and security of guests, and to help with operations. The night porter will also be responsible for cleaning areas as per set out overnight cleaning schedules.
- Security: Ensure that all accommodation areas are secure by locking doors and windows and checking fire escapes regularly throughout the night.
- Guest services & bar services: Help guests who arrive late, work the remaining 3 hours of the bar opening schedule after the late shift leave.
- Cleaning: Keep the front of house areas clean and tidy, including the reception area, bar areas, lobby, sitting areas, conference room & hot desks
- Breakfast preparation: Set up the dining rooms for breakfast including coffee machine cleaning as per schedule.
- Incident response: Respond to emergencies or incidents during the night shift, and complete incident reports.

**Other duties**: Check in late guests and check out early guests, set tables, assist other departments as needed, and Attend meetings and training sessions.
Night porters typically work alone or with one other person, from late at night to early morning. They need to be alert during periods of mínimal activity.
