We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a bustling restaurant and hotel environment. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and fully equipped for food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the culinary arts and wish to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the organisation of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
- Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling practices are followed.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues in a culinary setting.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills within the hospitality industry, particularly in culinary roles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
