The Administration Coordinator will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as work directly with the Secretary General (CEO) to support the operations of CISV International by providing effective assistance to the management team. The precisenature of the responsibilities will develop over time and will be agreed upon with the Secretary General and the Chief Operating Officer. You will be a member of a team who assist each other as needed and are jointly responsible and accountable for supportingthe general administration of CISV International. Key areas of responsibility will include the oversight and coordination of the duties of the Administration Team, as well as supporting the work of the Governing Board, Committees and Regional Teams, supportingthe recruitment process for volunteers and staff, contributing to operational planning and implementation of CISV work.
We are looking for an experienced administrator with ability to work in a multi-cultural and multinational context. You will be outgoing, highly motivated, organised and resourceful, able to work effectively in a team and independently. To be successful,you will have excellent English verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively with non-native English speakers. You will have advanced IT skills or willingness to develop them, including Excel and use of video conferencingsoftware. You will have exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills, good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
