**About Us**:
The Centre for Climate Repair (CCR), based in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), is a multi-disciplinary hub that brings together various departments with the goal to repair the climate through the 3Rs - Reduction of carbon emissions, Removal of greenhouse gases and Refreezing the Arctic. We support PhD studentships and internships in several University departments and are overseen by a University Board as well as an External Research Advisory Board in respect to our research and field trials. Although the Centre is based in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, the Centre for Climate Repair also has strong ties with the Department of Engineering, based in Trumpington Street, therefore some travel to this site will be required.

Where we host events/activities and/or our presence at external events is required, we may ask the Communications Assistant to accompany the Director and/or Deputy Director so as to document and promote our presence on social media.

The successful applicant will have excellent organisational and communication skills and initiative to support the Centre's communications for our busy and diverse events and activities. They will be flexible and adaptable and able to work effectively with other members of the team. Previous experience in communications or a similar role is essential.
