APT care are looking for new carers to join the **CAMBRIDGE** community care team.
This job role involves visiting different properties in the postcode areas above and therefore it is a must that applicants drive with use of their own car. People that do not drive, will not be considered for this role.
As a domiciliary care provider, we support elderly people within their own homes in the community of Luton, some recently discharged from hospital needing reablement support. The job role includes
- **PERSONAL CARE SUPPORT; WASHING, DRESSING AND CHANGING CONTINENCE ITEMS SUCH AS PADS.**:
- **MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION DUTIES**:
- **REPORTING TO THE OFFICE AND COMMUNITY DISTRICT NURSES**:
- **MEAL PREPARATIONS**:
- **END OF LIFE, PALLEATIVE CARE**:
- **SHOPPING, MEDICATION COLLECTIONS AND LIGHT DOMESTIC DUTIES**:
- **TOILETING SUPPORT**:
- **COMPANIONSHIP & WELLBEING SUPPORT**
This position is full time. We expect our carers to work a combination of fixed week days and weekend days; with set regular shifts on the same day during the week and weekend work commitments of every other weekend or one day every weekend.
Our carers work from 6am in the morning until 2pm when they finish lunch visits and our evening carers starts tea visits at 3pm, finishing at 10:30pm.

All our staff receive full induction training including the care certificate. With ongoing refreshers, additional tailored training and are also expected to do their NVQ/QCF level 2 & 3 post probation.
