Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in the community, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting their overall well-being. Your contributions will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, making a meaningful impact in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Help clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to combat loneliness.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behavior, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans.
Experience
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals who may have varying needs or challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.44-£18.57 per hour
