Young Person Support Worker

We are looking for support workers experienced in working with young people with Learning Disabilities and Autism to work in Abingdon and surrounding areas. Great rates of pay from £12.90-£13.50 per hour, flexible shifts are available including days, evenings and weekends. This is a highly rewarding role supporting various services. We also have opportunities for Senior Support workers, please call for more information.
This is a support role, encouraging young people to develop independence as well as providing care and support. Duties include supporting around the house, helping with outings and activities, supporting with medication and mealtimes and daily chores and enriching the day to day lives of the people you are supporting. There may be day trips and activities involved as well.
There will be on-going shifts, thorough inductions and extra training available for staff working in each service, whether you are looking for full time hours or an extra shift a week.
Applicants will need to be trained and experienced in care and support work, ideally with experience of working with young people with learning disabilities or autism. We also have work in the surrounding areas accessible by public transport or driving.
