What you will be doing:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic risk change programmes with executive stakeholders and leading the change team in delivering multiple business outcomes. You will specifically support and partner with risk senior leaders to drive and execute the book of work for Risk change and programme initiatives.
Lastly, you will serve as a trusted advisor leveraging domain expertise of risk and regulation that may include capital requirements, conduct, governance, market regulations applicable to a Retail Bank operating in the UK market.
This fantastic and profile enhancing opportunity will allow you to work on multiple programmes, have a lot of senior level engagement and help drive forward the risk change agenda and risk Strategy.
Your responsibilities will include
- Drive delivery of projects and initiatives driven by external mandates from regulatory bodies, or internal mandates to mitigate risk and enhance controls while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement with moderate to high complexity and visibility.
- Provide leadership to execute a variety of programmes and initiatives that are significant in scope and complexity.
- Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business. Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with OSB policies and business line objectives. Consult with wider stakeholder network and review project proposals to determine goals, timeframes, budget, staffing requirements and project constraints and, in partnership with Risk leadership, ensure each team has a defined roadmap and supporting execution plan to achieve project goals. Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
- Develop, track and manage programme-level key performance indicators (KPIs) and key success metrics. Create meaningful presentations for steering committees and other forums as needed
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Establish budgets, plan and align required resources to execute on priorities and roadmaps
In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £100,000 - £120,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
- £7,500 car allowance
- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 80% (40% discretionary annual bonus opportunity and 40% LTIP awards)

- Experience of working with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

- Significant levels of experience in the provision of thought leadership and the development and driving of strategies and plans for advancing change programmes to deliver successful and sustainable outcomes
