**Head of Wholesale Operations | Luxury Womenswear | 6-9 Month Contract**

Consumer Additions are proud to be partnered with a Luxury Womenswear designer to source for them a Head of Wholesale Operations. **This is a maternity cover position: 6-9 m**onth contract.**

This luxury designer has wholesale clients globally, including the likes of Liberty London, MatchesFashion, & Net-A-Porter. The primary emphasis is on ensuring the streamlined shipment of wholesale orders, overseeing the wholesale operations to meet sales order requirements, and providing general support to drive sell-through for the sales team. Collaboration with Production, Sales, and Finance is essential, and you will serve as the main point of contact for our US Agent and European Distributor.

They're after an individual who can hit the ground running, and maintain the high-standard set by the current postholder.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and dispatch customer booking requests for wholesale clients.
- Provide updates on shipment progress, stock movements, end-of-season results, and stock overages.
- Guide and support the wholesale ops team, fostering a culture of responsibility and ongoing improvement.
- Manage the seasonal credit approval process across all markets, ensuring accurate payment terms for each order.
- Work closely with Logistics to ensure timely and smooth deliveries.
- Supervise and authorize Factory splits and wholesale reorders.
- Collaborate with the ecommerce team to manage stock and offer efficient shipping support.
- Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and cost-saving within the company and team.
- Streamline and oversee wholesale invoicing processes across global territories, ensuring precision.
- Execute a meticulous closure of seasonal order books, facilitating seamless transitions between collections.
- Prepare and present the monthly Agents Commission Report.
- Strategically allocate in-season stock across international markets to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Address ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
