An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Admin Assistant, for one of our well established clients based in the Blacon, Chester area. The aim is to deliver quality support services to women, men and their families who are affected by domestic abuse and homeless across North West England.

**Your duties as a Admin Assistant will include, but not be limited to**:
- Provide administrative support to the Domestic Abuse Team.
- Photocopying and collating of material/documents, filing paperwork, shredding as required.
- Taking minutes for meetings and extracting data for reports.
- Ensure there is sufficient stationery, office equipment and stock at all times. Purchasing using current purchase order process, and to ensure deliveries are received efficiently and effectively.
- Organise and co-ordinate the maintenance and repairs of properties, liaising with suppliers as required. To ensure maintenance and repairs are arranged efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure financial records are processed in line with policies and procedures, whilst records are forwarded to Head Office as required.
- Maintain the postal system, both incoming and outgoing letters/parcels.
- Ensure the office and working environment meets Health and Safety requirements. Carry out weekly health and safety checks with another member of staff, arrange PAT testing as required and keep up to date records of these tasks.
**The ideal Admin Assistant require the below**:
- Full drivers license, with no more than 6 penalty points, with the use of a vehicle
- IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, Outlook etc
- Understanding of confidentiality and Health and Safety procedures
- Effective record keeping
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to priorities work load and mange time efficiently
- Experience of using a data base
- Experience of minute taking, working with financial records, petty cash and bank transactions.
