**Who are they?**
We are working exclusively with this London based multi-sector organisation, supporting with a newly created post - Head of Business Development. With 12 months funding approved, we are looking for someone to join the organisation that can enable and enhancetheir commercial offers across the variety of service-offering they provide across the Capital.

**What's the Role?**
With a wide range of public services under their remit, this organisation are looking for someone to help develop and drive the enhancement of internal capability and encourage continual growth and improvement across their unique service offerings.
As a the Head of Business Development, you will support Senior Leaders and Chief Officers, enable their business units, assessing current offerings and exploring commercial opportunities to increase revenue growth.
This role is focused on facilitation and enablement. Over the course of 12 months you will be responsible for;
- Developing financially sustainable business models and supporting and identifying new commercial ventures
- The creation of strategy and prioritisation of business development opportunities through stakeholder engagement and analysis of organisational data
- Coordinate the delivery of complex business development projects
- Create an innovative business development governance model to enable exploration of emerging commercial opportunities within a sound framework
- Create internal network to encourage innovation, collaboration, learning's and best practice.
**Experience**
- Demonstrable business development experience within a service-focused organisation
- Prior experience developing and maturing a new business development function within a large, complex environment, as well as leading business development projects from initiation through to delivery to achieve quantifiable commercial benefits
- Ability to spot and pursue new opportunities, develop credible business cases to secure significant levels of invest-to-save investment, and deliver income generation and savings requirements
- Experience in designing commercial learning and development programmes for a range of stakeholders
- Evidence of championing successful change management within a complex and demanding environment; developing, leading and implementing strategies and change programmes to secure continuous service improvement, successful outcomes and significant operationaland service changes
**Skills**
- Professional qualification in either business analysis, project management, accounting, commercial contract management or procurement
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets
- Devising and delivering against ambitious targets
- Independent thinker able to offer new ideas and to challenge the status quo in order to improve business strategy
- Agile and adaptable in mindset and ways of working
- Excellent leadership skills modelling a performance culture and able to build achievement, confidence and skills in others
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Proven negotiating ability, having influenced critical outcomes
