**Head of Apprenticeship Operations**

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Head of Apprenticeship Operations based at The University of Wolverhampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of and support this area of significant growth across Degree Apprenticeships and HTE at the University of Wolverhampton.

Located within the Centre for Apprenticeships and Higher Technical Education, this is a key role at the University, with responsibility for the successful development and delivery of our programme of work around Apprenticeships and HTE, with a particularfocus on building our profile internally and externally, maintaining and developing areas of policy, practice and research.

You will be based at the City Campus but will be expected to travel to other campuses.

**Head of Apprenticeship Operations Role Responsibilities**
- You will work across all parts of the University, as an expert consultant, and with external partners to develop a consistent and coherent apprenticeship offer based on demand and local and regional needs.
- This role will have accountability in ensuring that the University is compliant with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) regulations and Ofsted requirements, given the stringent and continuously developing standards, and that provision alwaysremains audit-ready.
- This role will be responsible for the operational and strategic development and delivery of the Centre's provision and the management, leadership, development, well-being and performance management of staff within the Centre to ensure that it supports thestrategic objectives of the University.

**Head of Apprenticeship Operations Role Requirements**
- You are expected to have a degree or equivalent relevant work experience aligned to the job description.
- Further prior experience of operational management and leadership overseeing Apprenticeship provision is essential and in-depth knowledge of ESFA apprenticeship funding and methodology, working within regulatory frameworks to meet internal and externalaudit requirements with the confidence to challenge existing practices and systems to proactively problem solve.
