**Head of Capital Development**

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Head of Capital Development based at The University of Wolverhampton.

Estates Management is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Head of Capital Development to head the Capital Development Team.

The role will report to the Director of Estates and Facilities and will support the development, operation and strategic leadership of the University’s Capital Plan.

**Head of Capital Development Role Responsibilities**
- You will lead the delivery and development of the Estates and Facilities Directorate’s Capital Development Team whilst working closely with the other teams within the wider Estates & Facilities Directorate to ensure seamless delivery across all services.
- The Head of Capital Development will be responsible for planning the resources and processes necessary for ensuring effective project delivery, ensuring that programme, budget, quality, health and safety and environmental objectives are met.
- Crucial to fulfilling these responsibilities is a combination of strategic planning, effective execution, and a well-judged collaborative approach - all underpinned by the need to achieve results.

**Head of Capital Development Role Requirements**
- As a member of an appropriate construction-related professional body, you will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, whilst working to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- You will need to have an excellent grasp of best practice in relation to construction procurement, project management, cost management and continuous improvement with demonstrable success in securing the necessary outcomes.
