**Head of Treasury**
We are looking for someone to join us as a Head of Treasury. This is a brand new role, created for the business to support with the continued upwards financial journey Marston's have set out in the company strategy. This role will report into the Director of Treasury and will be joining a well-established finance team but also company.
This permanent role will be hybrid working, where you can work from our brand new office in Wolverhampton, in the comfort of our pubs, in the field or at home.

**Have you got what it takes? **You will lead the day-to-day corporate Treasury function with 1 direct report and responsibility for 7 in the team. In the team, you will work with the Cash Ops and Ledgers teams to drive efficiencies and maximise liquidity.
- As well as day-to-day management, the role entails:
- Covenant management and reporting on debt facilities
- Cashflow, working capital and finance cost forecasting
- Bank and private placement relationship management
- Ownership of group financial authority limits and internal treasury policy
- Collaborate with Group FP&A team to support and advance management reporting and forecasting
- Support the Director of Treasury on strategic treasury and financing projects
- Deputise for the Director of Treasury on key stakeholder meetings and projects
- Building effective working relationships with key finance stakeholders and functions
- Supporting the month-end process and management reporting
- Coordinate with both the internal audit function and the external auditors
- Ad hoc project work
**What you’ll bring to the table - **You will have strong treasury or banking knowledge, with proven ability to of working under pressure and producing timely and accurate information to meet deadline.
In addition you will also possess:
- Either a qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications OR have AMCT qualifications
- Experience of working with and managing multi-layer lender relationships
- Experience in managing different debt and capital structures
- System knowledge (S4 Hana preferable)
- Ability to interpret and explain financial data to the wider business
- Confident in delivery with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Personable and able to build strong relationships both with lenders and across the business
- Stakeholder management with the ability to influence and manage all levels of the business
- Excellent commercial and business awareness with a curiosity to learn more
