Description
We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our busy finance team at our European head office in Bilston. This will be on a hybrid basis for an inital fixed term contract period of 12 months.

The roles involves coordination of banking administration, payments processing and providing analytical support to the Director of Treasury Operations.

Key Responsibilities
KPIs:

  • Timely processing of bank payments through Oracle and cashpro
  • Monthly and daily reporting of cash

Banking Operations

  • Administration support in opening and closing of bank accounts and maintenance of bank services
  • Manage the central cash pool arrangements and reporting
  • Liaise with banks and third parties in relation to banking transactions and processes
  • Coordinate the maintenance of transactional and constitutional bank signatories
  • Continuously develop proficiency in BofA Cashpro and equivalent systems of local banks
  • Payment approver on BofA Cashpro and for local banks
  • Ensure timely processing of Oracle Payments in relation to the AP payments
  • Monthly Settle Intercompany Balances

Cash Management

  • Support the requirements for adhoc spot forecasting
  • Efficient preparation and processing of netting payments and cash applications in ARRegular reporting and analysis of BofA cash balances and locally held cash
  • Coordinate actions to manage local bank account balances
  • Monthly verification of the Pool balance in GL and calculation of interest charges
  • Respond to questions raised by auditors

Insurance

  • Support preparation of NCH data required for annual renewals for Group led policies
  • Support issuing of annual policy documents and ensure timely payment of policies

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Self-motivated, proactive and strong analytical skills

Excellent organisational skills and deadline-driven

Experience in an office environment essential, any experience in a finance or office banking team would be beneficial

Strong proficieny with Microsoft Excel essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with working with internal and external stakeholders

Discreet and trust-worthy, working with confidential data

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to research issues as they arise and make recommendations for resolution

Takes responsibility & ownership for own role
