Head of School: Black Country Medical SchoolMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.In collaboration with its partners, The University of Wolverhampton is planning to open a new and innovative medical school in the Black Country, taking its first students in 2027 (subject to GMC approval).The University of Wolverhampton is seeking to appoint a Head of School to lead the delivery of its new MBChB course. Working closely with the Dean of Medicine, the postholder will guide the School through the regulatory pathway to secure Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) awarding rights and attract Office for Students funding for home (UK) medical student places. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction and operational delivery of a new medical school in the United Kingdom in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the local NHS.The Head of School is a senior academic leadership and management role with School-based and institution-wide responsibilities.
