AlertSystems is a leading nationwide provider of commercial security systems.

**Fleet Controller (office based)**

The Fleet Controller is responsible for keeping our nationwide Fleet of vehicles roadworthy (circa 80 vehicles and growing).

**The role**
- Maintain Fleet compliance.
- Arrange regular servicing of our nationwide fleet of vans and cars.
- Record mileages to track when services are due.
- Update service history records.
- Sign vehicles on/off from designated drivers, accurately recording damage and defects and arranging for repair work to be carried out.
- Issuing and updating driver packs, ensuring the information provided is current and relates to UK driving laws and Company policies.
- Plan the logistics of vehicle recovery when breakdowns or accidents occur.
- Handle insurance claims and submit to our insurance brokers.
- Organise vehicle availability when spare vehicles are required or organise the temporary rental of vehicles.
- Update the insurance portal with current vehicle and driver details.
- Prepare vehicles for end of lease return.
- The management and administration of driver behavioural units & vehicle trackers.
- Process fines & PCNs.
- Monitor servicing/parts costs.
- Negotiate servicing/parts costs.
- Check driving licences twice a year for points/address updates.
- Grey fleet compliance checks.
- Ad-hoc duties.

**Skills required**
- Fleet administration/management or motor trade (service desk) experience.
- PC skills with a good working knowledge of Outlook, updating Excel spreadsheets & Fleet software.
- Efficient planning and organisational abilities.

**AlertSystems offers**
- A full-time permanent role, Monday
- Friday (days, 40 hours per week).
- £25,000 p.a. (depending on experience) reviewed after three months.
- 24 days holiday per annum + Bank Holidays + an extra day off for your birthday.
