**Summary**
The Accounts Assistant / Accounts Executive position is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to help grow our company using the experience and knowledge from previous positions.
This role is ideal for someone who has 1-2 years’ experience within an accounts department and looking for the next step in their career.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supplier invoice/credit note processing.
- Handling supplier queries.
- Supplier statement checking and reconciliation.
- BACS payment runs.
- Processing and paying weekly staff expenses and any ad hoc payments.
- Maintaining and reconciling Cash Books.
- Ensuring disputes, queries and unallocated amounts are cleared for Purchase Ledger.
- Supporting the Credit Control team with any additional duties when required.
**Additional Skills and Knowledge**
- Previous experience or exposure of Purchase Ledger is essential.
- A knowledge of ledger reconciliations, cashbooks, general bookkeeping skills would be an advantage.
- Ability to use multifunctional software packages.
