**What Is the Role?**
**What would my responsibilities be?**
Responsible for two-way communications management with Circa Lighting’s London Showroom, Chelsea Design Centre, and both brands’ marketing teams. Regularly collect marketing needs, and opportunities, and work with the team to develop solutions and/or recommendations. See items through the approval process and execution.
Work cross-functionally with the broader marketing team to ensure coordinated, strategic, and impactful brand-related announcements and support on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for developing and managing partnerships with designers and influencers in the UK/EU market.
Assist in driving brand awareness, authenticity, and relevancy. Plan, market, and execute high-end showroom and virtual events as well as showroom-centric marketing campaigns. Monitor registrations for events and take action to increase the promotion and visibility of events where needed.
Responsible for reworking marketing campaigns and collateral to be most suitable for the UK/EU market.
Responsible for two-way communication with the eCommerce team regarding website updates or issues for the UK/EU sites.
Maintain and build new lasting relationships with key journalists, influencers and other key industry stakeholders.
Monitor and report on brand mentions in press and seek out opportunities to share news about our business with key media contacts.
Plan and deliver PR strategy to raise the profile of our businesses with relevant media.
Respond quickly to media requests to help establish strong working relationships with journalists.
Draft press releases, ensuring our tone of voice and brand narrative are used consistently.
Maintain a positive external reputation for Visual Comfort & Circa Lighting through proactive and reactive press coverage and other media relations activity. Drive interest and coverage in key media outlets including supporting timely brand announcements, product launches, and events.
Assist in developing paid, owned, and earned media plan for UK/EU markets. Work to identify publicity opportunities and secure placements.
Actively research, identify and develop events in the market and stay on top of industry trends.
Reporting to Visual Comfort Europe’s Marketing Manager, you’ll create clear and concise reports pulling out meaningful insights.
**What Do You Need from Me?**
At least 2 years of experience in press relations and event management.
Previous experience in a similar industry within the luxury products / interior design sector.
Proactive relationship builder - whether it’s leveraging your existing relationships with media or developing new ones, you will be able to demonstrate how you measured the success of previous investments in PR, awards, and events.
Exceptional communications skills, written, verbal and listening, able to produce content which appeals to a range of audiences.
Confidence, with an ability to articulate themselves well.
A results-focused approach - looks for new ways of working, taking ownership of all PR, events and activities to deliver original and imaginative approaches to build awareness.
Strategic thinking - with an entrepreneurial spirit: you are passionate, persuasive and inspiring with the ability to demonstrate the development of a strategy that delivers increased profile.
A self-starter who can work autonomously with excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and on budget.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a cooperative attitude - must be able to work as part of a team.
Confident with Microsoft software and Adobe Creative Suite intermediate knowledge preferred.
Strong attention to detail and demonstrable skill in proofreading while possessing a creative mind.
Experience and savvy working knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
Demonstrable ability to manage projects, team members and vendors remotely.
Exceptional project management, prioritisation, and time management skills with a track record of success managing and delivering multiple projects/events concurrently.
