The Role:
The Sample Purchasing Assistant is responsible for data administration for the Sampling Team. Placing orders for raw materials, arranging stock transfers and following these through to the receipt of the finished goods samples.- Duties & Responsibilities:

- Raise purchase orders for raw materials for prototyping, trials, sealed samples, bulk and press
- Raise finished goods POs for all factories for bulk and press samples
- Process the receipt of all raw materials and finished goods that are shipped from suppliers/factories
- Arrange stock transfers from various sampling warehouses
- Assist with stock take for all external factories
- Continually update factory trackers for all sampling shipments
- Liaise with suppliers and factories daily, providing/requesting updates on status of materials and finished goods
- Process invoices for accounts
- Adhoc system stock maintenance

- Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with order management/product development systems advantageous
- Proven ability in producing accurate work with attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to work at a fast pace to multiple deadlines on multiple tasks
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to adopt a flexible approach to work and adapt plans quickly and effectively
