An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Finance Administrator to join our highly specialist, tight-knit team, with an immediate start date at our Chepstow office.
**£21,000 - £24,000 PRO-RATA**

**About the role: Finance Administrator**
As Finance Administrator, your role will be to manage all financial activities, account queries and administration in a timely and efficient manner. This exciting position will appeal to someone with previous experience with working in a finance or accounts department who is ready to develop their existing skills and bring new ideas to influence change. You will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise and plan your own workload.
**Headline responsibilities include**:
- Ensuring smooth running of Sales ledger and purchase ledger control;
- Collaborating with our Client Services team to deal with internal queries and to ensure compliant and effective Client onboarding and vendor management;
- Managing the debts of creditors, ensuring timely payments are made, invoice reconciliation and resolving account queries
- Effectively and timely managing the organisation’s expenses, VAT return and reconciliation, and Prepayment maintenance;
- Producing monthly financial reports in a meaningful and timely fashion;
- Delivering effective Budget and company expenditure management;
- Ensuring complete compliance to processes and procedures
**Essential for the role**:
- At least 2 years’ experience working in accounts or a finance department/or AAT Level 3 qualified or equivalent
- 5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English) at C grade
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
- The ability to pick up new programmes/systems quickly
- Excellent level of numeracy, accuracy and problem-solving ability
**Desirable for the role**:
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems
- Payroll/PAYE experience

**COVID-19**:

Full Induction training will be carried out from our Chepstow office for the first 3 months. Hybrid working (balance between remote working and office based working) considered thereafter.
