IDT is seeking a charismatic, hard-working & analytical - **SMS Rate & Routing Specialist **to join its rapidly growing SMS business team. You will be responsible for the procurement and monitoring of our global routes, ensuring the most cost-effective purchase of services, whilst maintaining quality control and product guidelines are followed.

**About The Role**:
The role will be split into two parts: procurement and analytics. As part of the procurement element, you will work directly with our suppliers to source the best quality and priced SMS routes for our sales team to promote the continuous growth of our messaging products. Within the analytical element, your main emphasis will be to ensure: quality, stability, and margin optimisation for our current and new traffic streams. You will benefit from having the autonomy to define the way you do things, working with state-of-the-art technologies which will enable you to be a key player in growing our business to new heights.

You will form part of the SMS Operations Team whose focus is to work closely with our suppliers to ensure our customers receive a top-quality experience. Using your commercial & analytical focus, you will collaborate with our product and sales teams, sharing your knowledge and expertise to optimise processes and achieve the best possible outcomes.

**Your Experience**:

- At least 3 years experience in a routing or analytical role within the A2P messaging industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of SMS terminology and practices.
- Competent with SMS testing tools and number lookup services.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organisation and time management skills.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of a second language would be beneficial but not required
- A demonstrated inner drive for success.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Packages (Mainly word & Excel) BI would be beneficial.
- Understanding of SMPP, HTTP & SS7 connectivity
- Willing to travel on occasion.
