The organisation is a large multi-site organisation with very different stakeholder groups, where a one-size-fits-all just won’t work. Speaking to the Digital Learning Manager about this newly created position, it’s clear this role will be part of a big journey, but with small deliberate steps. With a new Learning team and the creation of Digital Learning function coming together over the past several months it’s clear of what the end goal will be. - Engaging content that focuses on all development not just core / compliance. - Fully inhouse content creation. - A broad mix of content that will allow users to consume when they’re on the go. Up until now the content has been stale and dated. With a heavy reliance on external providers and an LMS that has been cobbled together over the years. It’s essential that you have a good base of learning content creation and use of the obvious tools. The team are extremely supportive, the business has the appetite for Digital Learning and the Digital Learning Manager is progressive, with a calm and methodical approach. He has a depth of experience of implementation and transformational projects involving Digital Learning. So if progression is important to you then you will certainly be given the exposure and leadership for your own development. The role will be hybrid in nature. So happy to work from home but they do want someone who is also happy getting out to meet the key stakeholders and SME’s when needed. The selection process will be a straightforward 2 stage process.
