Group Receptionist / Administrator

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

**Requirements as a Group Receptionist / Administrator**
- Receptionist role overview:
Crucial role in ensuring smooth operation of care homes

First point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff

Provides exceptional customer service and administrative support
- Flexibility required:
Minimum of one day a week in each home

Provides reception and administration support

Covers annual leave and sickness
- Essential skills:
Excellent numeracy skills

Experience in monitoring budgets, procurement, and processing invoices

Knowledge of setting up and maintaining effective administration systems
- IT skills:
Strong IT skills required

Ideally, experience with database software (preferably HR database and Time and Attendance systems)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) - intermediate level
- Communication skills:
Ability to communicate sensitively and clearly

Communicates verbally and in writing to home manager, residents, relatives, head office teams, management, and medical professionals

**What do we ask of you as a Group Receptionist / Administrator**
- Experience of managing and supervising staff, including running communication meetings.
- Experience of mentoring and training on the job, allocating work, providing feedback, and completing appraisals, supervision, induction and on-the-job training.
- Good understanding of CQC requirements in relation to residential care.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety, Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Experience in reception or administration role
- Experience in health-related sector or commercial organisation
- Experience working in a team

Pay: £14.70 per hour
