Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a New Model Launch (Manufacturing) Graduate to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

To provide a well-rounded experience, typically, we offer curated rotations (3 months each) and placements (1 month each). These are tailored to your specialism, giving you exposure to different business areas. This helps you build a strong network, understand various business aspects, and develop a holistic industry view.
Open to recent graduates from all degree backgrounds, our 18-month ‘Go Beyond’ Graduate Programme is designed to nurture our future engineers, automotive specialists, and professionals. On programme completion, you’ll re-join your chosen team, creating a long-term career pathway.
The New Model Launch (NML) team helps bring new products to market. A unique opportunity to interact in a manufacturing environment with cross-business departments and duties.
**What you'll do**:
- Successfully complete rotations and placements across different business functions delivering on the required objectives and developing strong relationships across the organisation.
- Support the implementation of business improvement projects and product deliverables.
- Develop a deep understanding of Lotus operations and area functions responsibilities.
- Build personal brand and network within the Lotus family.
- Developing core skills within ‘home’ function.
- Accelerate career development and technical knowledge. Develop an understanding of the culture at Lotus and understand the product DNA.
The New Model Launch Team is responsible for:
- The development of the project cadence and framework for the future launch development.
- Assuring readiness through scorecards.
- Developing build plan timing/ramp up curves aligned with current production schedules.
- Leading problem solving investigation and resolution.
- Support pre build phases of new production in production line.
**Key Stakeholders**
- Develop strong working relationships with functional mentors and rotation managers.
- Maintaining effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create a sense of community amongst teams at all levels and departments within Lotus.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Purchasing and Type Approval teams.
**Scope**
- To work in a fast-paced environment with an output focused mindset.
- Demonstrate the ability to critically review work streams and provide improvement ideas and solutions.
**What you'll bring**:
**Essential**
- Engineering or manufacturing Degrees.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
- Must have a recent Degree prior to start date.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
**Desirable**
- Industry experience, coursework, or project delivery within degree fields listed above.
