**Job overview**:
We are seeking an highly engaging, motivated and compassionate Lived Experience Lead with a particular personal experience of In-Patient care to join NSFT's Model of Care+ Programme Team.
It has come at a critical but fortuitous time for NSFT going beyond the wording in LTP “For people admitted to an acute mental health unit a therapeutic environment provides the best opportunity for recovery. Purposeful patient orientated and recovery focused care is the goal from the onset”.
Our aim is to implement NSFT's Model of Care whilst aligning to the 3 year National Quality Transformation Programme for inpatient care, driving up quality and safety to our 30 wards.
The Lived Experience Lead will be crucial to the programme by ensuring good quality co-production & engagement with stakeholders, particularly those in receipt of services throughout its implementation.
This new role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has the commitment and passion to support the professional development of staff, ensuring that all our staff have the appropriate skills to meet the needs of our service users, carers and relatives.
Experience of planning and delivering projects of work, to deliver outcomes, and have experience of working in partnerships with internal and external stakeholders would be desirable as well as experience facilitating training of large groups of professionals.
**Main duties of the job**:
Working hours are social hours Monday to Friday hybrid working. A combination of a fixed term contract or secondments are available, If a secondment the support of your line manager is essential.
You will need to be approachable, able to flex to the competing demands of the programme to accommodate both internal and external changes and lead upon the delivery to the planned timescales. Your innovation and ability to support large scale change transformation will be key in driving forward changes to support the In-Patients services to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our service users, carers and families.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to work to deadlines, with key stakeholders (service users, carers and families) engaged during the process. Your lived experience, passion, motivation and drive will be key to the successful delivery of the requirements of this leadership role.
