Lived Experience Training Lead

They will incorporate and utilise ‘lived experience’ into the facilitation of the Programmes, ensuring the Key Threads of the programme are maintained: - Service User at its centre; involvement of carers; promotion of Equality & Diversity; Care and Compassion throughout.
- Provide professional senior lived experienced facilitation which inspires, motivates, and empowers Trust employees attending induction / development Programmes.
- To design, deliver and evaluate values-based development programmes that transfers into workplace practice and increases team and individual performance.
- To ensure the smooth implementation and achievement of the Induction / development programmes.
- Develop a robust list of experienced trainers and speakers, ensuring they meet the training objective and suitability for training
- To assess trainer/speaker and content, providing feedback from delegates and own observations on style, method and trainer skills.
- Ensure that best and evidence-based practice is incorporated into training to improve patient care/customer service.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with multi professional colleagues within the Trust and externally.
- Participate in team, professional and personal development activities and promote a commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
- To formulate and organise complex activities and programmes which may require adjustmentg. change of dates, speakers, venues, content or purpose of program
- To represent our trust to variety of stakeholders internal and external where there maybe barrier to understanding or reluctance to engage.

- Deliver induction/development programmes on a multidisciplinary basis involving a variety of training methods, media and styles tailored to suit staff audiences at all levels.
- To contribute to the overall Training and Education Model, service planning and development.
- Work with the Trust Senior leadership teams to support development of clear fit for purpose training requirements to meet good patient care outcomes.
- To evaluate the effectiveness and efficacy of the induction/development Programmes.
- Support the T&E team and work across the Trust to champion Education pathways, training resources, promoting good clinical care through the delivery of up to date and clinically relevant training.

Finance
- Be authorised signature for small purchases related to programs
- Overview of budget and costings for the program
- Take accountability for financial decisions relating to the program under guidance of manager

Human Resources and Training
- Teach, devise Induction / training and development programmes as a major job requirement.
- To deliver comprehensive range of Training programmes
- Develops training/staff development courses
- To line manage administrative support staff as / if required
