We're looking for a
B2B Product & Services Manager
to lead the design, development, and lifecycle of innovative products and services—including cutting-edge cloud-hosted digital and voice-enabled SaaS solutions. *Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum dependant on experience
Location: Hybrid New Milton
Start date: January 2026

about You
What We're Looking For
Experience (Essential):
- 5+ years in technical product management, technical writing, or project management, ideally with SaaS products and services.
- Strong understanding of both software/cloud (logical) and hardware (physical) product development, including systems integration and lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and post-launch product management (updates, returns, maintenance).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related technical field.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Technical Writing: Ability to produce clear, detailed specifications and requirements.
Technical Expertise:
Cloud service models and deployment patterns (AWS preferred).
- SIP/VoIP protocols and performance considerations.
API-based architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
Collaboration: Skilled at working across departments to deliver cohesive products.
- Project Management: Experience with full product lifecycle, Agile/DevOps, and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Customer Focus: Understanding of scalability, supportability, and user needs.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for risk identification and mitigation.

THE ROLE
This role is responsible for defining and managing technical specifications for both software and hardware products throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design logical products (software), including data models, APIs, UI/UX requirements, cloud deployment considerations, and security/resilience standards.
- Define architectural requirements for high-availability communication systems (e.g., SIP/VoIP).
- Design physical products with user-focused criteria, hardware component preferences, firmware specifications, and maintainability concepts.
- Identify failure modes, set test criteria, and manage feasibility assessments.
- Drive implementation of new products and services and improve existing ones.
Technical Specifications & Feasibility
- Technical Specifications: Define detailed specifications for software, cloud services, and hardware products, covering architecture, APIs, UI/UX, security, resilience, and performance requirements.
- Cloud & System Architecture: Work with engineering teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure designs for high-availability systems.
- Physical Product Design: Specify hardware components, firmware requirements, and user-focused design principles, including maintainability and safety standards.
- Feasibility Assessment: Lead technical and operational feasibility studies, evaluate risks, and ensure readiness for support, monitoring, and resilience before launch.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Failure Mode & Risk Management: Work with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and mitigate risks early in the product lifecycle.
- Engineering Collaboration: Partner with cloud, voice, and software teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient designs, including monitoring, failover, and performance KPIs.
- Cyber Security: Embed best practices for IAM, encryption, and network security; maintain alignment with central security standards.
- Supply Chain: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure scalability, KPIs, and logistics readiness for timely delivery.
- Service Delivery: Align with ITIL principles, implement proactive monitoring, and ensure operational readiness with documentation, dashboards, and training.
- Finance: Collaborate on budgeting, cost control, and accurate revenue recognition for new products and services.
Documentation, Training & Marketing Support
- Documentation: Ensure technical manuals, marketing collateral, and training materials are complete and accurate before launch.
- Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging with product features.
- Training: Lead training for support and operational teams to ensure readiness for product rollout and post-launch customer support.
Post-Launch Product Management
- Delivery & Support: Coordinate logistics for physical products and ensure efficient post-launch support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Maintenance & Scalability: Develop plans for updates, enhancements, and scalability to support growth without compromising performance.
- Returns & Warranty: Implement processes for managing returns, warranties, and SLAs to maintain customer satisfaction and reliability.
