We are recruiting for a Senior Fleet Administrator to join our Team at our site in Telford, Shropshire, on a hybrid basis. The Senior Fleet Administrator will support the Fleet Manager and assist in the administration and co-ordination of all fleet associated activities, ensuring that legislative compliance and requirements are met. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their career to become a Fleet specialist

**Senior Fleet Administrator - Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Fleet Manager in the management of a small team of Fleet Administrators on a day to day basis
- Provide our drivers with any support required when selecting vehicles, e.g. understand the fleet's taxable value, capital value and depreciation rate and be able to calculate tax costs, understanding the factors that can affect this, such as Co2 emissions.
- Day to day fleet administration ensuring an excellent level of customer service is provided
- Production of accurate fleet administration reports for Senior Management, ensuring availability within agreed time scales
- Support the Fleet Manager with designing, implementing and maintaining appropriate procedures and processes enabling the required operational standards and legal compliance to be upheld
- Assess MI produced by third party Fleet service providers to ensure full compliance with all company processes and policies. To also use MI to identify potential opportunities and make recommendations for Fleet improvements
- Support the Fleet Manager with ensuring that all vehicles used by the company whether owned, internal, externally contract hired, daily hire or loaned are fit for purpose, insured, roadworthy and legal
- Support the Fleet Manager with all identified fleet initiatives to include (but not exhaustive examples) - industry research, data build and gathering, project support)
- Work in partnership with key internal stakeholders to support and manage the relationship with manufacturers and suppliers for the provision of fleet resources and services, ensuring the company is achieving the best value
- Maintain awareness of relevant updates and trends within the fleet industry to support adhoc projects and development of safety, environmental initiatives and legislation
- Facilitate the completion of fleet audits and ensure issues are addressed through the execution of an action plan
- Monitor and support the coordination of the procurement of new vehicles to ensure compliance with company fleet policy
- Proactive management of the day to day queries from company car drivers in accordance with the company car handbook and associated policies

**Skills and Experience**:

- As a Senior Fleet Administrator you will have experience and working knowledge of all DVLA/Vehicle Legislation and requirements
- Formal Fleet Management Qualification would be desirable, or a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Must be proficient in the use of Excel and Word
- Be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines / strong organisational skills.
- Flexibility, resilience & persistence
