JOB OVERVIEW*

Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with the Sales team and Customer Services on the status of any returns, ensuring appropriate documents are completed
- Physically open and check all returns that are received at Flavour Warehouse headquarters
- Exercise high levels of quality control to ensure resaleable stock is resold and non-resaleable stock is isolated and forwarded to relevant parties to resolve
- Update the internal ERP system by booking stock in against the correct credit note
- Generate returns on the internal system
- Separate the faulty items to quarantine or scrap, ensuring the faulty spreadsheet is properly updated and the supplier is contacted for to issue a credit note
- Organise faulty or returned stock in a tidy manner
- Communicate any issues with Returns department, Warehouse Manager and Finance
- Assist the finance team with checking and processing invoices and credit data
- Support the aims and ethos of Flavour Warehouse, setting a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance
- Promote and ensure the good reputation of Flavour Warehouse and its individual divisions
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures within the defined timescales
- Undertake any other tasks which can be reasonably expected in relation to the role

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience within retail, manufacturing or FMCG industries in a customer service or financial capacity would be advantageous
- Proven experience of using internal warehouse IT systems
- Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to maintain confidentiality in the workplace
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Numerically minded
- Ability to multitask and work at pace whilst maintaining high standards
- A starter - finisher
