**Home Care Assistant - Blackburn with Darwen and Surrounding Areas**

We are currently looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to support **a number of our clients in the Blackburn with Darwen area, including two who require additional support, one of whom requires dual carer visits** to ensure their safety and comfort.

Whether you’ve worked in care before or are completely new to it, if you have a warm smile, a listening ear, and a genuine desire to make people’s lives better, we’ll support you every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing
- Providing personal care with kindness and dignity, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Offering companionship and emotional support to help clients feel seen and valued
- Assisting with everyday tasks like preparing meals, light housekeeping, and running errands
- Supporting mobility and sometimes driving clients to appointments or social outings
- Working as part of a team to deliver **dual carer visits** safely and effectively
- Following personalised care plans and keeping accurate records
- Ensuring each client feels safe, respected, and well cared for every day

What we’re looking for
- A caring heart and a positive attitude, experience in care is a bonus, but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in people and their stories
- A full UK driving licence is preferred, especially for roles that involve driving clients
- The ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
- Someone who can work well as part of a team and also independently
