**MRP Assistant**

We are currently recruiting an MRP Assistant to join our Blackburn site and support the MRP Controller with various administrative and operational tasks. You’ll be joining the business at a time of real exciting change with growth on the agenda

**Who are we looking for?**

Do you thrive on meticulous organisation and possess impressive IT skills, including hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems?

In your role as MRP Assistant, you will be supporting the MRP Controller with various administrative and operational tasks related to the materials planning and procurement process. You will be vital in maintaining an efficient materials planning and procurement process, ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity to support production and business operations.

To do this, you’ll need to have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively and cross-functionally - mainly with production, procurement, finance and warehousing.

Previous experience in either a production/operations role or even a procurement/commercial role would be a great advantage

**The role of an MRP Assistant at BBF**
- Check the status of all deliveries that are OTIF and resolve any queries/involve procurement where necessary.
- Work with the site operational warehouse to ensure capacity is available for incoming deliveries and inbound deliveries are managed accordingly.
- Manage the stock and supply of selected suppliers.
- Provide cover for the MRP controller.
- Produce weekly/monthly forecast reports and publish them where required Internally and Externally.
- Produce/monitor and publish supplier service.
- Resolve all non-deliveries to ensure no operational downtime.
- Maintain the ERP system - highlighting BOM/SKU errors and resolving them.
- Place all forward print run requirements (within the contract).
- Challenge sales forecast to reduce waste on delisted material/packaging.
- Work with BBF 3PL warehouse providers / ensuring stock is booked in accurately and communication sent for incoming deliveries.
