**Product Manager - Consumer Duty (6 months fixed term contract)**

**Role purpose and overview**:
To support the delivery of the banks Consumer Duty project.

The bank is implementing additional requirements to comply with the Consumer Duty rules. The purpose of the role will be to support the Product Management team and Consumer Duty Project working group to design, test and implement changes to comply with theDuty. The primary focus of the role will be to define and deliver the requirements for compliance with the Consumer Understanding outcome under the Duty. This will be a hands-on role assisting with conducting product reviews, co-ordinating collateral review/testingand remediation, setting business standards and processes, and defining and developing MI to provide client insights.

**Key activities**:
Support the Product Management team and the project team to deliver the required standards under the Duty by:

- Reviewing the additional standards and requirements under the Duty which the bank has identified, and assess the changes needed to existing processes and MI reporting to meet/comply. Support the re-design of existing processes, procedures and business standardsacross client journeys to meet the requirements of the Duty.
- Leading on the design and development of a MI/data strategy to support evidencing of the Consumer Duty outcomes. Develop and produce Management Information (MI) reporting which will evidence customer outcomes and provide actionable client insights.
- Co-ordinating document testing and reviews to address the requirements for the Consumer Understanding outcome, working with a 3rd party firm to conduct reviews, identify remediation required and work in partnership with document owners to deliver the requiredchanges. Embed enhanced communications standards across the business and develop an approach to ongoing review and testing of documentation.

**Knowledge / Experience**:

- Experience in a related role within financial services, e.g., product development, product proposition/strategy, product management, etc
- Experience within the Banking and /or Wealth Management sectors
- Understanding of the product lifecycle
- Experience of working on projects as a member or leader of a project team/working party
- Experience in designing, presenting and analysing MI reporting beneficial
- Analysing and creating processes and procedures and implementing changes
- Regulatory awareness in particular the requirements under Consumer Duty
