Clinical Systems Training and Support Lead

We are looking for a Clinical Systems Training and Support Lead to work 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.
This is a band 6 role £35,392 - £42,618 per annum
The role of the Clinical Systems Training and Support Lead will be to provide overall leadership and management of Trust's Clinical Systems Training and Support Team. The role will support the current business as usual processes and the Trusts Digital by Choice Strategy.
Previous experience is essential, and desirable if in a clinical setting (or equivalent experience).
The work base is home, but the role will require travel to Trust sites.

As part of the Clinical Systems team you will be responsible for the planning, development and maintenance of Clinical Systems Learning material hosted on the Learning Management System (LMS) and the development of other opportunities for accessing learning through the use of technology and traditional methods across the Trust.
The post may also involve the development and maintenance of learning material for Corporate and Clinical Induction Programmes and Mandatory and Essential Skills training, together with wider continuing professional development and clinical skills areas.
The role of the Clinical Systems Training and Support Lead will be to provide overall leadership and management of Trust's Clinical Systems training and support team.
You will be responsible for the entire learning life cycle for all staff, from analysis of their needs to the measurement of their competencies. Whilst leading the training and support function the Clinical Systems Training and Support lead will be expected to create online learning materials incorporating interactive multimedia tools, such as video clips, webcasts/webinars, audio clips and podcasts.
You will assure the end user experience, and that the training delivery and support is fit for purpose, taking ownership for and ensuring appropriate security and governance policies and procedures are in place to control access and protect data user data.

Learning Creation and Development
Plan, develop, maintain, support and manage the Trust’s Clinical Systems Learning Material working with Subject Matter Expert’s to ensure classroom, face to face, online, and eLearning content meets the Trust educational and developmental objectives.
Plan and develop high quality, engaging and targeted learning solutions, including content, assessments, and evaluations, using technology such as vodcasts, podcasts and webinars.
Develop eLearning using authoring tools including Captivate and Camtasia, whilst supporting and mentoring the team in the use of such tools.
To identify the resource and logístical requirements needed to facilitate the widespread use of Learning Technologies within the Trust, identify how these can be met and put into place.
Work with other colleagues and Subject Matter Experts in managing and developing content for Essential Core Skills and to ensure training objectives for digital skills (for example), are met.
Promote best practice and data quality and information governance requirements in all learning accessed via the use of technology including eLearning.
Undertake regular audits of implementation of educational activity and provide regular management reports of all activity as requested.
Introduce a robust system to prioritise and collect information from those requesting development of Learning Technology including eLearning.
Use appropriate approaches to delivering a teaching portfolio that encompasses a blended learning approach, to suit the needs of the organization and the staff.

Lead the teaching portfolio to ensure that learning is available for end user training assessments, refresher training and to complement trainer/ facilitator led training delivery, developing blending learning approaches where appropriate.
