Clinical Systems Officer

We are looking for a Clinical Systems Officer to work 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday.
Band 4 - £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, full time.
This role covers many areas including the design and delivery of Training, Support, and Testing. The role will support the current business as usual processes and the Trusts Digital by Choice Strategy.
Previous experience in delivering training and supporting software is essential, and desirable if in a clinical setting ( or equivalent experience).
The work base is home, but the role will require travel to Trust sites.

To provide training, testing, support, and system administration functions to support the Trusts Clinical systems. This role is multi-faceted and will support the current business as usual processes and the Trusts Digital by Choice Strategy. The role includes:
Design and delivery of IT training on a wide and varied range of clinical and non-clinical systems across the Trust. Contributing to the development of guided and standalone e-learning, facilitated, and classroom based courses designed to meet changing customer requirements and systems.
Providing support and advice to Health Professionals, Clinical Teams, NHS Managers, and external stakeholders to ensure configuration and data within the systems is fit for purpose, accurate, complete and available to support the use of clinical systems and processes.
System administration and testing activities supporting user access, system performance, version release, data integrity and the maintenance of appropriate levels of system security and data integrity.
Supporting user access and Registration Authority ( RA) processes in accordance with National and Local policies and procedures

Training
To deliver business as usual training IT courses within the Trust to a broad range of staff. To support in development and delivery of new training courses to support and improve working practices. Provide training as part of clinical system implementations and upgrades. To support the development of and deliver training using a variety of modes and methodologies methods including: - Stand-alone eLearning packages - to provide self-paced learning via the internet Facilitated/Guided eLearning with agreed levels of trainer support. Standard classroom courses - Trainer led Carry out training. To participate in formal system testing supporting version release within customer systems, Provides training on the national registration system to users across the Trust.
Support
Provide a dedicated customer focused approach offering support and advice to customers including explaining functionality available within systems modules. Assist in the resolution of data quality issues utilising and developing skills to ensure consistency, confidentiality and accuracy. Participate in system testing and contribute to the development of Service communications and user guidance documentation. To understand and maintain knowledge of reference data set up and structure within both new clinical systems and operational legacy systems to ensure clinical information systems are maintained, to the highest quality and accuracy of data collection. To contribute to the development and maintenance of documented clear and structured administrative processes in supporting accurate capture of reference data, including ensuring version control and protocols.
