What it's like to work here The North Region of the National Trust is large, spanning from Manchester and Sheffield in the south of the region to the Scottish borders in the north. Our teams can live and work from anywhere within or even beyond our regional boundaries. Our systemshave been set up to enable you to enjoy a hybrid working arrangement where you can choose the best working environment for the task in hand. Some days this could be working from home, on others it could be at one of our five regional hubs, or at a property.Your contracted place of work will be the regional hub closest to where you live. We’re a flexible employer and supportive of helping you find a healthy work-life balance.
This is a role that fits into the bigger jigsaw of regional business services and we can be flexible about the hours you will work. This role could be full time, at 37.5 hours per week, or part time hours (starting at 18.75 hours) to suit your personal circumstances.It’s more about getting the job done well than sticking rigidly to office hours.
What you'll be doing The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same, so you'll have to love variety and working at pace. You will be part of a team that provide specialist support to our Regional Director,Assistant Directors, and Internal Consultants. You'll help us plan ahead and prepare for future activity and will be willing to be an active, passionate part of our team.?
You'll always champion best practice when it comes to service and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there's a better way of doing something.
In any given day you could be helping to arrange a region-wide event, liaising with external partners, or looking at ways to review and improve a process. You'll connect and form strong relationships with all the members of the Regional Management Team andInternal Consultancy, with the other Regional Business Services Coordinators as well as being an active member of the National Business Services community.
Who we're looking for **We're looking for someone who is: ** -Comfortable using multiple digital platforms and curious to explore their full functionality-Highly organised and has experience of high-level support provision, in particular around the abilityto co-ordinate multiple diaries in an agile and proactive way-A strong communicator who can confidently and clearly present their ideas and those of others-A logical thinker who is able to understand how things fit together and spot the opportunities thatappear-A process thinker with an enquiring mind who loves to explore the intricacies of how things work and what we can do to improve them-A confident multi-tasker, happy to roll their sleeves up and help us get the job done and able to prioritise ownworkload-Well organised and attention to detail-A skilled IT user, happy to learn and explore new technology and systems as well as share the knowledge with others
