We are looking for a creative Marketing Executive to help execute the brand marketing strategy across key B2B and B2C channels.

Crafter’s Companion is the UK’s leading craft company, based in Newton Aycliffe. **About you**:
With a background in marketing, you’ll be an enthusiastic self-starter with strong written and organisational skills and an impeccable eye for detail. Working within the fast-paced marketing team, you’ll have a positive attitude, be a real team player with a great work ethic and be able to switch between B2B and B2C channels easily. You’ll need to be a well-rounded marketer, with both planning and creative skills, ideally with an interest in arts and crafts.

**About the role**:
This varied role requires a creative, organised and collaborative individual who can work in a global team, can take ownership of key marketing activity, aspects of which include developing briefs and creative assets, reviewing marketing collateral, copywriting and stakeholder management. You will spend the majority of your time working closely with our retail and trade teams. The role also requires extensive collaboration with our in-house Creative, TV and Digital Teams to monitor campaigns across all areas of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce in-store marketing materials, in-line with the wider communications plan and in-store trading needs. Manage the publication of assets for stores to promote the store itself, classes and cafes, and liaising with stores to ensure these are distributed in the local area.
- Plan and oversee Crafter’s Companion UK and European trade and consumer shows
- Manage marketing collateral across our independent trade partners for key events.
- Work with the wider marketing team and channel managers across the business to ensure retail stores are being featured in activities across all platforms, helping to provide suitable content for maximum return.
- Attend product marketing meetings to gain an understanding of target markets, product benefits and key selling points, then translate this into relevant communication plans and content briefs.
- Oversee development of annual catalogues to highlight brands and collate product information for a selection of core items.
- Develop visual identity and creative content across product campaigns, presentations, and post campaign reports.
- Write, co-ordinate and manage marketing briefs and ensure the timely delivery of on-brand marketing assets
- Support promotional and campaign activities across key brands and Crafter’s TV.
- Own and manage development of the Crafter’s TV YouTube channel.
- Own traffic management of creative asset requests, for example tutorial videos.
- Product Marketing - deliver sales marketing material suitable for different scenarios within the corporate sales journey as well as bespoke material for a variety of audience groups, from booklets and flyers to catalogues and social media videos.
- Act as a support to the Marketing Manager.
- Prepare business proposals on a case by case basis for marketing activity, including materials, costs and logistics.
- Update and manage campaign marketing calendars to schedule key photoshoots for brand marketing collateral.

**Essential Skills**:

- This role will suit someone currently working in the marketing field, with hands on marketing experience or a recent marketing graduate with a degree level qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while processing information from different areas of the company.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate at all levels.
- Superb organisational skills with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills including impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Retail marketing experience is valued but not essential.
