Spire Bushey Hospital are **looking for a driven and motivated Business Administrator to join our established team. This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their administration and customer services skills in a healthcareenvironment.**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To ensure all billing is actioned promptly and accurately in line with Spire procedure identifying billing problems, placing billing alerts, suspending and clearing as required.
- To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Patient charging for outpatient services
- Collecting payments for upcoming outpatient procedures
- Daily maintenance of the departmental shared mailbox
- To take ownership of patient & insurer billing queries and liaise with HSC & Central Finance as required.
- Adhoc cashiering & posting entries to the accounting systems according to work instructions.
- Adhoc processing of standard supplier invoices, consultant fees and patient refunds.
- To review and take appropriate action for overdue local plan debt
- To call off daily and monthly reports and action them accordingly to specified work instructions
- Shared responsibility for incoming calls.
- Responsible for ensuring mandatory training is complete timely.
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
**Who we're looking for**
- Has previously come from an Administrative role - this is not a beginner level position.
- Excellent Customer Service skills - Must be in a position where you have dealt with customers whether this be over the phone or in person.
- IT Literate - Data Entry/ MS Office
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with a proactive approach to work.
- Flexible to accommodate working hours which will be a mix of 09:00 - 17:00 and 10:00 - 18:00.
