Early Years Onboarding Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring a smooth and positive new joiner experience for all Early Careers hires and internal stakeholders involved in the onboarding process.
- The person will work with the L+D team to develop and document suitable onboarding courses for all early years positions at KCS focusing on graduates/Interns/Co-op and apprenticeships. You will create a training syllabus for all graduate/apprentice entrants and support in delivering induction and onboarding training. This will require you to write, curate and manage the development of engaging and effective content aimed at grassroots talent and graduates entering the workplace for the first time.
- Take the lead in running workshops and delivering globally the curriculums to new starters and support managers in the first 12 months of the new persons starting.
- Support the Head of TA in developing global relationships with external educational bodies. Work with internal stakeholders, colleges and universities to design and develop a greatly enhanced range of apprenticeships and graduate schemes to attract talent. Ensuring offer and onboarding activities are compliant, aligned to the companies processes and policies.
- Attend careers fairs and other networking events as required.
- Support line managers in developing their apprentices and graduates so that all required learning outcomes are met; provide mentoring and pastoral care where appropriate.
- Work with the office champions to enhance and improve the onboarding process.
- Provide regular dashboard / reporting
- Any other duties as directed by Head of L+D and TA
- Help develop and mature the companies approach to Diversity & Inclusion.
- Work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop excellent relationships, internally and externally.
- Any other duties commensurate with role, as required.
**Key Requirements**:
- Good command of English grammar and vocabulary
The suitable person will currently be working in an L+D role, onboarding or global partnerships role and be willing to learn /expand your skill set.
- We are looking for someone who has some previous experience designing curriculums / training courses.
- instructional design skills
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation
- Has excellent presentation skills and is confident to deliver workshops online and in person.
- Solid MS-Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ideally has some project management experience.
- Ideally understand recruitment and has some exposure to resourcing.
- Ideally has a background dealing with Interns, apprenticeships and/or graduate programs / legislation.
- The ability to travel to UK and other global locations.
- The ability to travel to external sites primarily within the Uk
- Desire to grow in knowledge and skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions to performance challenges
- Methodical and accurate approach to work
- Confidence in managing accountability
- Ability to grasp, structure, and prioritize large amounts of information
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight schedules

Desirable Experience
- Fluency in another language
- Developing and producing dashboard reporting
- Public speaking and presenting skills
- Knowledge of Digital marketing
- Experience setting up and managing projects
- Experience managing veteran, diversity, graduate and / or intern programs
