**Job Summary**

The post holder will have a role in a rapidly growing respiratory department based the Cromwell Hospital. As a Lung and Sleep Co-ordinator, you will be an important part of the Lung and Sleep centre at the Cromwell hospital. You will liaise directly with patients, doctors, stakeholders and the clinical team to ensure a clear and reliable workflow in service delivery.

**You’ll help us make health happen by**:

- You'll work towards having a sound working knowledge of all lung and sleep diagnostic tests carried out in the department to be able to provide accurate information to referring doctors and the necessary advice prior to patient bookings.
- You'll ensure outpatient lung and sleep tests are booked in a timely manner with the relevant patient information leaflets sent to patients.
- You'll coordinate and liaise with the clinical team for inpatient admissions for sleep tests and home video polysomnography studies.
- You will be responsible for checking daily charges for lung and sleep activity
- You'll support the clinical team in establishing and supporting an audit program with a view to contribute to departmental standards and quality of services provided.
- You will have a good understanding of private healthcare service delivery, to be flexible and adapt to change whilst continuing to perform to a high standard..
- You'll work with each respiratory consultant and their secretarial teams to coordinate the administrative tasks within outpatient clinics.
- You'll work closely and collaboratively, with and within a team, with all stakeholders (consultants, nursing, physiotherapists, allied health professionals and patient representatives) to improve service delivery and standards of care.
- You'll be fully conversant in all clinics or other areas where patients are “arrived” in a department.
