Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWBT) is an integrated care organisation with a budget of approximately £600 million and over 7,000 staff. Diversity and social care is at the core of what we do as the Trust provides Community and Acute Services to over half a million people in an urban centre that demands massive regeneration and has substantial premature mortality.
**We have three newly emerging strategic objectives**:
1. Our People - to cultivate and sustain happy, productive and engaged staff

Manage the co-ordination of Cancer Site Specific MDT Meetings. The role within the MDT meeting requires the co-ordinator to collect data relating to the patients journey and treatment management. This information is then recorded into the
Somerset Cancer Registry (SCR), which is used to monitor waiting times in accordance with government targets and collect national cancer minimum data sets
In order to facilitate the efficiency of the MDT meeting, it is the co-ordinators role to organise the key elements required, e.g. the requesting and collection of case notes, radiology and pathology reports in order to ensure that the information necessary for effective team functioning is available at each meeting.
