Agile Coach, Swindon, Newport, Billingham

Do you have extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies along with experience in coaching and mentoring leadership and delivery teams? Due to business growth, we’re looking for an Agile Coach to join our team in Swindon, Newport or Billingham on a permanentbasis. The salary for this role is £46,910 per annum, and we will consider applicants wanting full-time or part-time hours (minimum 30 hours per week). We are embracing a hybrid way of working, with an expectation to travel into your closest office when required,this can be discussed at interview.

**What will you be doing?**

The UK SBS Agile Coach will be a champion for change and fostering a continuous learning environment. They will continuously seek to identify and clarify team goals, alignment, and foster an environment of trust and innovation aligning to business strategy.
- Key responsibilities will include:_
- Support the development of self-organising Agile teams, coaching and guiding teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met.
- Mentor teams on Agile techniques like estimation, planning, story mapping, and in the key Agile roles such as Product owner and Scrum Master.
- Assess and measure the maturity of Agile teams, regularly working with the business and wider PMO (via the CoE) to provide guidance on the evolution and maturity of UK SBS Agile processes, helping to drive resolution to any inhibitors to adoption to enablesuccessful scaling of agile delivery.
- Support the continuous improvement mindset of the organisation, helping the business to create high-performing teams focused on customer centricity and value, fostering self-organisation and collaboration, using techniques such as System Thinking/Lean.
- Be a role model for the agile mindset within the organisation, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the agile principles and the part they need to play to contribute to successful delivery.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Extensive and evidenced knowledge and experience of the use and implementation of Agile methodologies and scaling frameworks (e.g Scrum, Kanban and SAFe)
- Experience in coaching and mentoring leadership and delivery teams to effectively support our transition to Agile ways of working and the development of an Agile mindset including appropriate qualifications.
- Demonstratable ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders with competing priorities and views
- Recognised agile qualifications such as ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
