Accounts Payable Analyst, Swindon

Do you have demonstratable accounts payable or financial transaction knowledge as well as strong Microsoft Office skills? Due to business growth, we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Swindon, Newport or Billingham on a permanentbasis. The salary for this role is £23,425 per annum, and we will consider applicants wanting full-time or part-time hours. We are embracing a hybrid way of working, with an expectation to travel into your closest office when required, this can be discussedat interview.

**What will you be doing?**

Finance Services are responsible for accurate processing and recording of all financial transactions associated with our clients.

The Accounts Payable Analyst will endeavour to provide a great customer experience by working within our busy Accounts Payable function, investigating and resolving complex transactions to support the delivery of key transaction services to our clients.
- Key responsibilities will include:_
- Taking ownership by investigating and accurately resolving complex Accounts Payable transactions from customers and suppliers
- Providing support in escalation processes where appropriate
- Supporting across transactional teams with urgent and ad hoc requests, liaising with non-transactional teams as appropriate
- Maintaining good relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service
- Contributing to continuous improvements in our processes, procedures, and controls to deliver efficiencies and service enhancement

**Who are we looking for?**
- Educated to GCSE level, including Mathematics and English or comparable proven experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook and MS Excel
- Demonstrable Accounts Payable or financial transaction knowledge
- Ability to communicate at all levels and to build relationships with internal and external contacts
- Strong problem-solving skills, gathering evidence and investigating solutions through to a satisfactory resolution
- Can demonstrate using a methodical approach with attention to detail in a previous capacity
- Ability to plan work, setting realistic deadlines and escalate concerns where required
