Senior Project Manager,

If you are a Senior Project Manager, then we have a fantastic opportunity to work in our Project Management team, that could be your ideal role

You will be joining us at an exciting time of transformation and manage a range of projects that are at the heart of our Change and Infrastructure Improvement portfolio.

In return we will offer you, £46,910, full time/part time welcome working (at least 30 hours) in a hybrid capacity at one of our three sites in either Swindon, Newport or Billingham.

**About the role**

Working within our Partnerships & Change team, the Senior Project Manager will lead and manage complex and potentially politically sensitive projects in support of UK SBS’ strategic vision and the needs of our client bodies, promoting high quality resultsand user confidence.

The role requires the use of recognised project management techniques to initiate, manage, deliver and close down complex projects. These projects could range from focused IT development through to business change projects.

You will be responsible for delivering on time, within budget and to the agreed quality, while also concentrating on the projected benefits. There is a strong stakeholder element to this role across team members, SRO, clients and 3rd party suppliers. Thecomplexity of the projects requires strong governance, planning, risk and budgetary management.

UK SBS follows the PRINCE2 Agile methodology but tailors depending on the nature of the project.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Relevant qualification or proven experience within professional field Project Management qualifications (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile)
- Experience of supporting the development and implementation of changes to deliver strategic goals
- Knowledge of and experience of using Project Management frameworks, disciplines, and policies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile)
- Broad range of technical, business and commercial knowledge
- Good understanding of risk management, including methods and techniques for the assessment and management of risk
- Strong commercial acumen with a keen focus on financial management, value for money and procurement process
- Ability to define and manage relevant and fit for purpose governance controls
- Proven experience of leading complex business change initiatives
- ERP or complex systems delivery involvement
