Technical Delivery Lead

We are looking for someone to join our Digital & Information (D&I) team as a Technical Delivery Lead.

Salary £37,235 - 46,969, full time preferred, working in one of our three sites in Swindon, Newport and Billingham.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaboratively managing varying Digital scopes of work through the software delivery lifecycle, from inception to service.
- Develop and/or validate change requests that impact IT services, and establish the collection of metrics for benefits realisation
- Lead in providing quality solutions to the business through the introduction, optimization, and management of standards & technologies
- Learning new technologies driving Digital leadership within UK SBS
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business problem statements, collaboratively agree timelines and deliver these in an agile manner
- Liaise with other Digital, Security and Architecture team members to ensure compliance with company policy and standards
- Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Act as a role model to encourage development of individuals, motivating colleagues to deliver consistently high levels of performance and continuous improvement

**Skills & Experience**

**Essential**:

- Qualification or proven experience using Project Management Frameworks (Prince2/APM, Agile)
- IT literate and proficient using Microsoft Office and project management tools (JIRA, MIRO, Github)
- Able to communicate at all levels, with good verbal and written skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, using well-versed communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with a willingness to challenge preconceptions
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload with little or no senior support
- Specialist knowledge of one of our services - HR, Finance, Procurement, IT and/or Customer Service, including previous experience of Agile/Waterfall project management and Change management
- Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on multiple delivery standards
- Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement
- Experience of supporting the development and implementation of changes to deliver strategic goals, in an Agile environment
- Knowledge/experience of working with service and support structures delivering service transition activities to support delivered change.
- Investigating problems & analysing improvement opportunities for new & existing services. Working with stakeholders to identify objectives and potential benefits available.
- Elicitation of technical requirements and facilitation of business prioritisation
- Experience of planning and managing IT Testing activities
- Knowledge and understanding of modern development practices, software security principles, including information security

**Desirable**:

- PRINCE2, Agile, SCRUM or DevOps project experience
- Previous experience of using Continuous Improvement methodologies (lean/6sigma)
- Experience with JIRA and MIRO
- Certification in ITIL v3 Foundation or ITIL v4
- Experience working with APIs, Microsoft Power Platform and/or Oracle Intelligent Advisor
- Experience and knowledge of working on a SaaS ERP platform or On-Premise ERP platform
- High-level technical Knowledge of differing IT services and technologies, this include but not limited to, Networks, Virtual Environments, Storage, o365, Cloud Telephony and security-based solutions
- Experience of leading and developing an Agile team
