We are looking for an aspiring IT and Operations professional to join our team in a fast-paced, forward-thinking, fulfilling tech startup environment. Working closely with our COO, operations and tech teams, you will focus on IT work as well as rotate in other areas to have a broad exposure of our business. This role is for you if you are naturally proactive, results-driven and organised, with an interest to build and improve our IT systems to a world-class level.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities may include**:

- **Procurement**:Manage the end-to-end procurement process for technical and office purchases
- **Health and Safety**:managing the company risk assessment, conducting routine checks and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all, first aider training
- **Office and Lab Management**:manage the company phone, inboxes, supply of amenities, organise files and documents
- **Other opportunities**:depending on your interest areas, you can get involved with; managing shipping operations and customs, marketing support, HR support

**Must Have requirements**:

- Successfully completed an IT-related degree or equivalent qualifications such as apprenticeship level 4+
- 1 year+ experience working on commercial IT systems with cyber security requirements

**Nice to have requirements**:

- Proficiency in cyber security requirements and/or enterprise IT requirements
- Relevant experience working in government, police, defence, technology product organisations or similar
- Experience in spreadsheet automation, coding, and integration between systems
- Experience in procurement, health and safety, office management or marketing

**Other requirements**:
Location: You must be able to work on site at our office at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Oxfordshire at least 3 days a week.

Security clearance: You will need access to government restricted information to do the work, so you will need to pass basic security and background checks. Eligibility and willingness to undergo future full security clearance (SC) is beneficial.
