Cmip-ipo Science

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
As part of the CMIP-IPO director and the office, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Providing scientific support to the CMIP international project office;
- Taking the lead in communication and organisation matters, including;
- To coordinate CMIP scientific communication and outreach including communicating simulation protocols, set-ups, CMIP science questions context and CMIP model results;
- To prepare CMIP reports, correspondence, publications;
- To ensure CMIP is highly visible as a WCRP brand via appropriate communication and outreach tools.

**Skills & Experience**:
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

- Background in climate science would be an asset;
- Experience in science communication;
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Familiarity with CMIP would be an asset;
- Expertise in working in an international environment;
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
