Our client is a FinTech Start up within the Employee Benefits / Financial Well Being space.

Their Technology / SAAS platform helps Companies to provide their employees with the financial tools to help them budget successfully, get advances on their earned income and save directly from their salary.

**About the role of Head of Sales / Business Development Manager**

Having just completed a successful capital raise, you will be joining the company at a very exciting stage. You will directly influence the future strategy and directly contribute to growth.

You will be joining at a very early stage and will be the 1st Business Development Manager / Salesperson in the company with further plans to grow the team, so we very much see this role long-term developing into a Sales Director / Head of Sales role.

As a Business Development Manager / Head of Sales, you will be responsible for:

- Defining the sales strategy for the company
- Lead from the front and be involved in the full sales cycle from qualifying sales leads, arranging sales meetings with prospects, doing product demonstrations (online and face to face) through to closing business
- Work towards achieving and exceeding monthly / quarterly sales revenue targets
- Build, develop and lead the sales team including SDR’s and Business Development Managers
- Collaborate with the leadership team and your counterparts in Partnerships, Marketing and Customer Success
- Being a Player Coach who has the ability to sell whilst coaching and building out the sales team to be successful

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious sales individual who would like to develop into a Head of Sales / Sales Director with a forward thinking FinTech provider.

**About You**
- Must have a 'Client First’ Attitude
- Previous experience of either working as a BDR / SDR (min. 3 years) and seeking your 1st closing sales role as a Business Development Manager or previous Sales / Business Development experience ideally in SAAS / FinTech but not essential
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Goal orientated / target driven with ambitions to develop into a Head of Sales / Sales Director role
- Must have a can do and problem-solving mentality with excellent communication and presentation skills
