Head of Global Sales

My client is a fast-growing global luxury beauty brand with an expanding footprint across UK and international markets, the brand is now seeking a dynamic Head of Sales – Retail & Distribution Global to drive growth, develop new partnerships, and strengthen its global retail presence.
The Head of Global Sales - Retail & Distribution will be responsible for defining and executing the company's sales strategy, opening new retail and distributor partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team. This is a senior, high-impact role for a commercial leader with proven experience in beauty, capable of driving both UK and international growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global
retail and distribution sales strategy
aligned with the brand's commercial objectives. - Identify, negotiate, and secure
new retailer and distributor partnerships
in the UK and key international markets. - Manage and grow a
sales team
, setting clear targets, KPIs, and coaching for high performance. - Build and maintain
strong relationships with existing partners
, ensuring brand presence and revenue growth. - Lead launches into
new markets and channels
, working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform commercial strategy.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure all sales activities uphold the brand's positioning, premium image, and long-term growth objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in
international sales, account management, or business development
, ideally within
beauty, personal care. - Strong track record of
opening and growing retail and distributor accounts
, including in new markets. - Experience managing and developing
high-performing sales teams
. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to
develop and execute plans from scratch
. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
